Gurkees® Rope Sandals are totally hand crafted. This means that there will be some variation in length - perhaps 1/4 inch even within the same size. Note that the charts below were developed by actually measuring two or more pair of the same size Neptune sandals.
You should order based on your normal shoe size bearing in mind that Gurkees sandals come in whole sizes. A size 8 is (7-1/2 to 8), a 9 is (8-1/2 to 9) and so on. For example, if you wear a 8-1/2, you should order a size 9 (8-1/2 to 9).
We suggest that you measure your foot length by placing a ruler or yardstick on the floor with the end against a flat vertical surface such as a wall or door jamb. Then position your heel loosely to the flat surface and measure to the end of your toes.
Your foot length should fit comfortably inside the toe and heel ridge as illustrated by the Neptune graphic below. If your foot length is at the upper length shown, you should consider going up to the next size.
