Brad Bowers loves to help others do well. It’s his passion.
CASNET customers appreciate Brad’s commitment to their success. His leadership as President and CEO over the past 20-years and now as Chairman and CEO of CASNET ensures they receive the highest level of support available for their enterprise content management and data storage needs.
Even those who do not know CASNET know Brad as someone you can count on to make things happen. Both in his work and in his community service, Brad has a strong reputation for getting the job done and leading successful teams. He’s a natural nurturer. Brought up in a blue-collar household, Brad’s family taught him to make the best of what life brings your way, how you should be ready to step in and help whenever you are needed.
At first, he stepped in to adopt orphaned businesses. In fact, since the early 1990’s, this former sales ace has taken several abandoned enterprises and transformed them into the strong corporate family known as CASNET.
Today, Brad and his wife, Amy, also adopt community causes – devoting their time, talent, and treasure to needs in Northeast Ohio. Brad is quick to say yes when he is called on to help. His involvements include: CASA-GAL, helping children navigate the court system, raising money for his children’s school, Habitat for Humanity, Great Trail Council Board, Leadership Akron, and many more.
From an early age, Brad learned the value of hard work and doing right by others. At the young age of 14, he started his career as a kid in a candy store, working part time at the neighborhood sweets shop. Years later as Chairman and CEO of CASNET, he still carries with him that desire to delight the customer.
For Brad, it is all about supporting his team, so that each person can be their best and serve the needs of others. Recently, CASNET employees were invited to develop a shared vision for the organization, a reflection of their shared corporate values. The result was three simple words: Family – Faith – Fun.
With Brad’s nurturing leadership, those shared values have helped propel the growth of the business, with innovative and expanded client services. CASNET has also won numerous awards, including the Weatherhead 100 Award for growth, and the NorthCoast 99 Award for best places to work.
Brad’s focus remains on servicing the customer, and helping enterprises grow through successful business processes. He is always on the lookout for other businesses to adopt that will expand the range of CASNET’s client services.
He and his wife have three children. When they’re not at community events, meetings, or kids’ soccer games, they enjoy renovating their home, skiing, and spending time with the family at a pristine lake in New Hampshire.
